Intimate Works on Paper 2014

We are gearing up for our next exhibition at Intima Gallery, opening on May 24th, with a wonderful group of Book Arts and 2D works. About a dozen Artist’s Books will be shown with as many Works on Paper (prints, photographs, collage), paired so to speak, from book shelf to wall, to create a dialogue between the works, as well as within each individual piece.  In addition to the Gallery exhibition, these local and national Artists’ works may be viewed on the Online Gallery on the website at:

First Friday, June 6, Reception 5-8pm for the Intimate Works on Paper exhibition, with poetry readings from the Artist’s Books on view.

Saturday afternoon, June 7, at 3pm, Presentation at The Saugerties Library with Mindy Belloff on letterpress printing in the 18th and 21st centuries, and “The Making of the Goddard Declaration of Independence” at 91 Washington Avenue, just around the corner from Intima Gallery; and afterwards, join us for a viewing of the exhibition: Mindy & Steve will be there to share information and talk about the artworks.

And, a Special Bookbinding Workshop on Sunday, June 8, 10am-1pm at the Gallery, for an Introduction to Handmade Books, Do-It-Yourself Bookbinding with Mindy Belloff (pre-registration required).
